Eugene Jesse James, age 68, Silver Cliff resident passed away Monday, June 24 at the V.A. Hospital in Iron Mountain, Mi.
He was born August 9, 1944 in Marinette. Eugene served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Kathleen Welsch May 21, 1966 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Crivitz.
Eugene was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company until retirement. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Eugene was an avid hunter, fisherman and trapper.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen; two sons, Rob (Lisa) James of Pound and Scott (Rose) James of Sobieski and five grandchildren, Michaela, Cody, Caitlin, Grace and Mason; five sisters, May Barnes, Beverly (Otto) Kaatz and Carol (Layton) Cole of Athelstane, Joann (Harold) Tuschy of Suamico and Joan Schuettpelz of Green Bay.
Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m.
