Village Coleman Firemens Parade, Picnic on July 20
The Coleman Parade Committee recently discussed finding a club to run the games for children at the Coleman Firemans Picnic on Saturday, July 20 from noon to 6 p.m. The parade theme is Christmas in July. For information call Rosie 920-591-0615.
Parade entry fee is $20 per float or organization. There will be plaques awarded after the parade for agriculture, business, club/organization, church, horses, humor and semi (tractor/trailer.)
Parade line up is at Northwoods Flooring parking lot. Entry numbers will be handed out at the entry of the lot. If throwing candy, get it to the sidewalk to prevent children from going into the street.
Persons can sign up for parade and bike entries.
Coleman Area Volunteer Fire Department 18th annual picnic is Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20. On Friday is DJ Music Match 54 from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturdays parade is at 10:30 a.m. with Musical Brass music from 1 to 5 p.m. followed by Daze 2 Nights from 7 to 11 p.m.
Mens softball, co-ed volleyball and doubles horseshoes are also planned. If interested call 715-938-2674.
Children ages 2-14 can sign up to win free bicycles. If interested in sponsoring a bicycle to be given away at the picnic, cost is $75 and send money to Parade Committee, PO Box 52, Coleman, WI 54112.
Raffle tickets are $50 each and winners need not be present. Drawing is Saturday at 9 p.m. at the Coleman Ball Park.
