Visitation was held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 23 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Green Bay, for Kathleen M. Massey, 68, of Green Bay.
Fr. Patrick Beno officiated and burial took place at Fort Howard Cemetery. Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay assisted the family. She passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, July 19 after a battle with ovarian cancer.
The daughter of the late Anthony and Estelle (Wojnicki) Luczak, sr. was born on Jan. 20, 1945 and married Duane Massey at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Wausaukee on Nov. 25, 1967.
She earned a degree at Wisconsin College of Cosmetology and worked for Merle Normans Beauty Shop. She was a stay at home mom until her four children started school and then was a caregiver at the Airport Road Childcare until her retirement. She enjoyed family gatherings, especially for birthdays and holidays, traveling to Dyersville, Io. visiting the Field of Dreams and visiting the local casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Duane; four children, Mari (Matt) Peterson, Michael, David (Jamie) and Steven (Kerry); nine grandchildren; two sisters and many other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Luczak, jr.
