Grandpa Fred at Library Free Picnic
Grandpa Fred will performing at the Wausaukee Library end-of-the-Summer Reading Program picnic at the Legion Building in Wausaukee on Wednesday, July 31 at 1:30 PM. Fred Turk uses song, instruments, puppets and props that relate to the library's summer theme, Dig into Reading. He encourages children to use the library to dig up fun and adventure through books. His musical madness will have all ages joining in for a fun time. The program is free and will run 45 minutes.
Prior to his performance the library will host a free meal to all participants of the Summer Reading Program. The meal will begin at noon and will be followed by awarding of prizes. If children have not registered for the Summer Reading Program, they must do so by July 26. The Friends of the Wausaukee Library, Sal's Foods, the Nicolet Federated Library System and the American Legion donated so the program is free to all.
