Lela (Francour) Swendson
Lela (Francour) Swendson, 96, passed away Thursday, June 6 at the home of her son, Mark in Indiana.
She graduated at age 16 from Peshtigo High School and moved to Green Bay to reside with her sister, Lucille Lord and attend business school and work in a lawyer's office. She later moved to Milwaukee to work and subsequently met and married Richard Swendson. The couple owned Beulah Lane Farms near East Troy until his death in 1975. She then moved to Clearwater, Fla. and spent the last 11 years in Minnesota and Indiana.
She is survived by her son, Mark Swendson and a daughter, Christine (Robert) Cochran; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
