Elaine Violet Lendl
Elaine Izzy Violet Lendl, 87, Menominee, passed away on Monday, Aug. 12.
Born Oct. 8, 1925 in Menominee to the late Albert and Anna (Guth) Blomquist, she graduated from Menominee High School Cass of 1943. On July 26, 1948 she married Richard F. Lendl at the Epiphany Church in Menominee and was a member of Holy Spirit Church, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 146 and Saint Anne Sodality.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Kloida; a son, David Lendl; a grandson Ryan Kloida, two great-granddaughters; a sister, Anna Mae Amerman, two sisters-in-law, Carol Blomquist and Charlotte Laduron; five nieces, Julie Erickson, Mary Beth (Howard) Edwards, Patti Amerman, Laurie (Denis) Gromala, Cathy (John) Banken and many other family members and friends.
Along with her parents and her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Kloida and three brothers, Eugene, Richard and Donald Blomquist.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Aug. 16 at 11a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Ryan Ford presiding. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Menominee.
