Coleman Legion Installs Officers
The Coleman American Legion Auxiliary of Post 280 held its monthly meeting Tuesday evening, Aug. 7. Officers for the 2013-14 year installed were Monica Stodola, president; Regina Brickner, vice president; Alyce Gusick, secretary and chaplain; Heather Blum, alternate; Jessica Olson, treasurer; Lucy Swenty, historian and kitchen manager; and Lorraine Murrock, alternate.
Membership and Badger Girls chair is Monica Stodola and Jessica Olson will take over Rada Cutlery sales.
A table will be set up at the flag burning ceremony to be held Saturday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m. A supper and raffle drawing will follow. Auxiliary members are asked to be there at 4 p.m.
Grave markers were donated from the Auxiliary Poppy Fund. Membership dues are payable at the next meeting Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at the Legion Hall. New members are welcome.
