Gary R. Jolin, 61, Howard, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, Aug. 19, at home. Born Nov. 23, 1951 in Oshkosh, he was the son of the late Lyle and Isabell (Bovee) Jolin.
He served in the U.S. Army for two years and upon returning home attended NWTC for marketing. He worked at Tufco for 17 years before retiring. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and his extreme couponing. He looked forward to the annual gathering of the Jolin Family and enjoyed his many close friends at Woodfield Village Apartments.
Survivors include five children, Robert (Amanda) Jolin of Rhinelander, Cari Jolin, Joshua Jolin, and Shawn Jolin, all of Green Bay, Stefanie (Ryan) Trevor of Suring; their mother, Betty Jolin of Green Bay; seven grandchildren; 10 brothers and sisters, Lanette Krueger, Diona Jolin, L. John (Vicki) Jolin, Roxanne Jolin, Donald (Teri) Jolin, Debra (Bruce) Peetz, Darlene (Dennis) Klein, Lexine (Elmer) Gauthier, Jeff Jolin and Sheila (Paul) Matuszak; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation was at Malcore (West) Funeral Home, in Green Bay on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 am until the time of the service at 11am with Chaplain Jonathan Elmer officiating.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
