Margaret E. Swanson, 90, passed away Sunday, Aug. 25th at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Oct. 5, 1922 in Marinette to the late Edward and Frances (Hotzel) Ruden, she married Carl H. Swanson June 27, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1968. She was employed as a cook for the Crivitz School System for many years.
She was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church, Ladies Club, Historical Society of Crivitz and Loomis, Red Hatters, American Legion Auxiliary, Senior Citizens Group, Village of Crivitz election board, Red Cross Bloodmobile Volunteer and Womans Club. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and enjoyed playing cards with friends.
Surviving are three sons Stewart (Sharon), Duane, and Randy (Denise) all of Crivitz; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
Friends called at the Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Crivitz Tuesday, Aug. 27th from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Lynn Wittman and Rev. Richard Marcy officiated and burial was in the Forest Home Cemetery in Crivitz. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz assisted the family.
