Lester E. Nitzske, 72, of Laona, passed away on Monday, Sept. 2.
He was born on April 27, 1941 to the late Ervin and Madeline (Larsen) Nitzske. He enjoyed coyote hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.
He is survived by a son, Stacy (Julie) Nitzske of Mountain; two granddaughters; a brother, Bruce (Patsy) Nitzske of Black Creek; two sisters, Cheryl (Russell) Wilkinson of Shiocton and Kathy (William) Stedjee of Bonduel and a sister-in-law, Barbara Nitzske of Shiocton.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darwin Nitzske and a brother, Gary Nitzske.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Moira Finley officiating.
