Donald J. Thibodeau
Donald J. Thibodeau, 84, of Crivitz, died Monday, Sept. 16, at NewCare Convalescent Center, Crivitz.
Born to the late Alvin and Leone (Entringer) Thibodeau March 29, 1929 in Sturgeon Bay, he graduated from Algoma High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He moved to Milwaukee and worked at The American Can Company for 20 years. He married Josephine Bobbi Ebner April 24, 1954.
The couple moved to Crivitz in 1970 where they owned and operated Thibodeaus Grocery Store in Twin Bridge. They also bought a farm in the area and operated it until retirement. He loved all 41 of his dogs and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Josephine Bobbi and three children, Jeffrey Thibodeau, Denise (Steve) Stewart and Phillip (Joan) Thibodeau, all of Crivitz; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jo (Jerry) Klika, Green Bay and Grace (Ray) Piper, Lakewood and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael, two brothers and a sister.
Friends and relatives may call at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz, Thursday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with the Funeral Mass to follow at St. Marys Catholic Church, Crivitz at 11 a.m. Father Walter Stumpf will officiate.
