Harney W. Saless
Harney W. "Bill" Saless of Menominee, Mich., passed away peacefully at The Harbors on Wednesday, Sept. 25th.
Originally from Shell Lake, he later settled in Menominee and served in the Navy in World War II aboard the SS Stevens.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary Ann; three sons, Peter (Maureen), Michael (Anne) and Jeffrey (Jennifer); six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olive and Peter; three sisters, Catherine, Belle, and Edith and three brothers, Peter, Lester and Lee.
There will be no visitation, but a military funeral will be held at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Monday, Oct. 7th at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) is appreciated.
