Dorothy Beth Hasenfus
Dorothy Beth Hasenfus, 56, passed away Thursday morning, Oct. 3 at her home after a courageous battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her family .
Born Dec. 31, 1956 in Menominee to Herman Bob and June Schomaker, she was a 1975 graduate of Marinette High School and married Jeffrey Hasenfus on June 16, 1989.
She was employed by Ansul for her entire 38-year career and enjoyed fishing, baking and bowling. An avid Packer fan, she was also involved in many charitable events but her greatest joy was spending time with family members and special friends.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Hasenfus; two children, Tony and Courtney; her parents, June and Herman Bob Schomaker; six brothers and sisters, Mark Schomaker, Terry Jo Schomaker, Pat (Carol) Schomaker, Debbie (Steve) Gamelin, Ken Schomaker and Vicki (Rudy Ray) Schiller; many special nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Steven Schomaker.
Relatives and friends called at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until A Tribute of Her Life at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7.
