Brats Fundraiser for Shop With Cop
On Friday, Oct. 11th from 6 a.m. until brats are all sold, Menominee County deputies will sell brats under a white and yellow tent in front of the Menominee County Jail. There will be bright flashing lights near the Courthouse. Cost is $2 per brat and the proceeds go to the Shop with a Cop Program. Pre-sales can be ordered in advance by calling the Jail at 906-863-4441. Delivery will be made to factories and area businesses.
Shop with a Cop provides families in need with the opportunity to have their children participate in Christmas shopping with correctional officers, law enforcement officers, 911 dispatchers, emergency medical technicians, fire fighters, courthouse employees, retired officers, auxiliary and reserve volunteer/officers of public safety community. Shop With a Cop is at the Menominee M&M Plaza on Dec. 7. Registration is at Bay View Bowl at 8 AM and bus transportation from M&M Plaza will be provided to Bay Cities Radio, Angeli's and Menominee Public Works to assist the program.
