Adeline E. Neerdaels, 98, of Green Bay, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Born Aug. 24, 1915 in Oconto, to the late Otto and Emma (Henning) Funk, she graduated from Oconto High School and on Feb. 12, 1955 married Maurice Neerdaels at Grace Lutheran Church.
She worked at Green Bay Food Company for many years and was a long-time resident of Green Bay and spent winters in Harlingen, Tx. as a snowbird for the last 40 years. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and being part of the geology club.
Survivors include her son, Ronald (Marlene) Neerdaels; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Beverly Funk; numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Betty and Skinny.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice; a daughter, Darlene (Gareth Sr.) Kuschel; five brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends called Saturday, Oct. 19 at Grace Lutheran Church, Green Bay from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Lary Lange officiating. Burial was in Nicolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Grace Lutheran Church. Newcomer Funeral Home assisted the family.
