Marcia L. Bredell, 75, Town of Pensaukee passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, Oct. 25 at her home.
Born Oct. 25, 1938 in Green Bay to the late Vincent and Elvira (Marks) Pelegrin, as a child she enjoyed the family farm life with her brothers and sisters. On Oct. 26, 1957 she married Darol Sparky Bredell.
She had a passion for sports and could be found wearing a Packers jersey. She loved her children and enjoyed watching the birds outside.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Darol Sparky Bredell; a son, Kenny Bredell (special friend Ruth); a daughter-in-law, Julie Bredell; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Giles (Hazel) Pelegrin; four sisters, Rose Ann Wygralak, Mary Jean Sheedy, Kathleen Peters and Florence (Don) Banaszak; a sister-in-law, Sharon Pelegrin; a brother-in-law Kurt (Sue) Bredell; two step brothers-in-law, Orville (Virginia) Kuske and Melvin Leiterman; a step-sister, Marion (Norbert) Calewarts and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Rick Bredell, Randy Bredell and Dennis Sparky Bredell; her stepmother, Minnie; two brothers, James Pelegrin and Joe Pelegrin and a step-sister, Joyce Leiterman.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., with a Parish Wake Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation continued on Monday, Oct. 28 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto from 9:30 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with Father Bob Karuhn officiating. Interment was at St. Benedicts Catholic Cemetery, Suamico.
