Loretta Lee Kaiko
Loretta Lee Redda Kaiko, age 53, of Amberg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on October 21, 1960; daughter of Melvin and Grace (Larsen) Smiley. Loretta was united in marriage to Michael Kaiko. She worked as a local beautician for many years and had a contagious smile and laughter. She was a fun loving person who enjoyed being with people and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She helped out others anyway she could, was an excellent cook and didn't want to be an inconvenience to anyone. She will be missed.
Loretta is survived by her husband, Mike; three children: Bradly, Shawn (Pearl) Barker and Vanessa Kaiko; three grandchildren: Braden, Bella, and Kaylee; father, Melvin (Rosella) Smiley; mother-in-law, Nancy; five siblings: Larry, Dennis, Lowell (Lynn), Kim McTrusty, and Tom; six brothers and sisters-in-law: Joanne (Wally) Biernasz, Nancy (Pat) Phillips, Debbie (Don) Khoeler, Sandy (Roger) Suennen, Sharon VanHollen, Vicki (Mike) Brown; and further survived by numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace; and father-in-law, Pete.
Funeral Service were held at 4 pm on Sunday October 27, 2013, at the Messar-Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee with Pastor Lin Wittmann officiating. Visitation was held from 1 pm until 4 pm at the funeral home on Sunday. Burial was at 10 am on Monday in the Amberg Cemetery.
