James Kokesch, age 88, of Silver Cliff passed away November 4, 2013 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. James was born January 9, 1925 at Gibbon, MN. to the late Arthur and Veronica (Grosam) Kokesch. He married the former Joan Bergene on April 25, 1959 at St. Paul, MN. Surviving are his wife Joan of 54-1/2 years, daughter Julie Rocque of Two Rivers, two sons Dale Kokesch of Silver Cliff and Henry (Carla) Kokesch of Two Rivers; 5 grandchildren, Rachael (Jeff) Balthazor, Elizabeth Rocque and her special friend Matt Secor, Jacob Kokesch, Matthew Rocque, Christopher Kokesch, a great granddaughter, Taylor Ann Kokesch, also three brothers Harold, Edward (Dolores), and Robert (Myrna) Kokesch and a sister Anna (Leo) Kral all of MN. Three sisters-in-law Janice Leschke, Nancy (James) Kunish and Kate (Wayne) Dehne and a brother-in-law David (Cheryl) Bergene and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held November 9, Saturday with visitation 12 p.m. until time of Memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home in Crivitz.
