Karen Marie Townsend, 52, of Abrams passed away Nov. 5.
Born in Oconto Falls May 21, 1961, the daughter of Dr. Wallace and Edith Townsend, she graduated from Gillett High School in 1979 and pursued a career as a registered nurse.
She is survived by her partner of 32 years, Gene Lepak and their 13 year old son, Kelton; her mother, Edith; three sisters, Nancy (Joe), Terri Sue (Joe) and Amy (Sean); a brother, Suha (Ayten); two nieces and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace.
A memorial celebration service was held from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Green Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her sister, Amy Esterhuizen, 3288 Spring Valley Rd., Dubuque, IA 52001 to help with remaining medical expenses and an educational fund for Kelton.
