Virginia M. Jaques
Virginia M. (DeLeers) Jaques, 94, passed away Nov. 22 in Pueblo, Co.
Born Oct. 9, 1919, in Marinette, she was a 1940 graduate of Marquette University and a 53 year active member of St. Margaret Mary Parish in Milwaukee.
She and her late husband, D. Russell Jaques, were partners in the Raasch Funeral Home in Milwaukee for over 30 years before retiring in 1984. They enjoyed golfing and bowling and were 1962 Milwaukee Couples Bowling Champions.
She is survived by her children, Daniel R. (Diane), of San Diego, Ca., Thomas (Pam) of Germantown, JoAnne (Gary) Schrubbe and Cindy Jaques, both of Pueblo, Co.; sister, of Fr. Vincent DeLeers of DePere; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell and a daughter, Jacqueline O'Dair.
Visitation will be at St. Margaret Mary Church, 3900 N. 92nd Street (N. 92nd Street and W. Capitol Drive), Milwaukee on Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Private interment will be at Pinelawn Cemetery, Wauwatosa.
