THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Satoko Photenhauer, 81, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, Nov. 25 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born June 27, 1932 in Japan, she spent her early life there before her marriage to Edward Photenhauer in 1956. She later moved to Menominee and was employed as a housekeeper at the former Marinette General Hospital. Most recently she was a resident of the Crestview Adult Care Home.
She is survived by four daughters, Rose Photenhauer, Mary Bawyn, Patty Merchant and Bea Clark; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette from 4 p.m. until time of the Memorial Service at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
