Bruce Anthony Brechlin
Bruce Anthony Brechlin, 67, of Manhattan Beach, Ca., recently of Norway, Mi., passed away Saturday, Dec. 7 after a battle with colon cancer at his sister's home.
Born on Sept. 22, 1946 in Eau Claire, son of the late Fredrick and Eldora (Fleming) Brechlin, he was raised in Osseo and graduated from Osseo High School in 1964. He served in the United States Navy from Aug. 18, 1966 to July 2, 1970 as a Riverine on the Mekong Delta in Vietnam.
In his younger years he was taught the skills of carpentry by his grandfather, Allert Fleming and after discharge from the military, he started his own construction company in California.
Survivors include a sister, Karen Brechlin (significant other, Jay Pophal), of Norway; two aunts, Helen Kenney, of Cudahy and Ethel Fleming, of Colorado Springs, Co.; his former wife, Nancy (Jones) Wilson, of Melbourne Fl and cousins.
Burial will take place in the spring in Osseo Cemetery. Bradley Funeral Home in Antigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
