Esther M. Chevalier
Esther M. Chevalier, 90, of Marinette passed away on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Rennes Health Center-East.
Born July 27, 1923, to the late Edward and Ada (Santamour) Farrell in Porterfield, she worked for Scott Paper for two years and then became a homemaker when she married Don Chevalier at St. Joseph's Church in Walsh on July 14, 1946. A member of Holy Family Parish, she was also a member of the Altar Society and the church card club.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Don of Marinette; three sons, Gene (Liz), of Omaha, Neb., Kenneth (Patty), of Marinette and Douglas (Dianna), of Fresno, Ca.; three daughters, Sandra (Raymond) Kamin, of Marinette, Cheryl (Dan) Sharon, of Antigo and Anne (Don) Pearson, of Foley, Minn.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and Ervin and six sisters, Lillian, Gladys, Marion, Dorothy, Gloria and Lenore.
Friends called at Thielen Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph's Church. Rev. Joseph Dorner officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
