Randolph D. Engler, 97, of Crivitz, passed away Nov. 15 surrounded by loved ones at the home of his grandson,
Born April 16, 1916, to Floyd and Anna (West) Engler, he was the oldest of four sons. He owned and operated S.A. Barnes Co. in Palos Hills, Ill. until his retirement and then retired to Crivitz with his wife Betty (Barnes) Engler, where they enjoyed their home and property for many years. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and working on projects in his pole building, including his Model A and Model T cars. They traveled to many exotic destinations all over the world.
He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Betty; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Fred Meiers; a daughter-in-law, Virginia (Wakerly) Engler; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Anna; brothers, Charles, Harold and Floyd Jr. and a son, Dennis D. Engler, Sr.
