Catherine E. Pearson
Catherine Kay Eileen Pearson, 71, of Menominee, Mi., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Born on July 12, 1942 in Menominee to the late Elmer and Ceceil (Padgett) Whitton, she graduated from Menominee High School in 1960 and married Frank Pearson on Jan. 7, 1961. A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, she worked at McDonalds in Menominee for over 35 years.
She enjoyed reading, playing bunko, her dart league and going to the casino with her husband. She was a loving wife and mother who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Frank of over 52 years; two daughters, Tracy (Tracy) Dougherty, of Howell, Mi. and Corrie (David) Boye, of Brighton, Mi.; two sons, Bret (Cathy) Pearson, of Appleton and Craig (Jackie) Pearson, of Kaukauna; nine grandchildren; a brother, Jerry (Rita) Whitton and a sister-in-law, Jeannette Whitton, both of Menominee and many other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Whitton.
Visitation was held at the Cadieu-Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 14 from 2 p.m. until the Vigil prayer service at 4 p.m. with Deacon Vincent Beckley presiding. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Expressions of sympathy and kindness can be directed to a family member.
