Donna L. Meyer
Donna Lou Meyer, 65, of Crivitz (Twin Bridge), passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 11, 2014, at home.
She was born in Milwaukee on August 21, 1948; daughter of Jesse and Audrey (Pennington) Shanebrook. Donna married Arthur Meyer on December 18, 1986 at home in Twin Bridge.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, campfires and tending to her wood stove at home. She was known to worry about everything. Donna spent Saturdays at Lakeside where she loved spending time with her friends. Over the years she was an active First Responder/EMT for the Town of Stephenson and Wausaukee and was a Foster parent to many. She was a kind and caring person dedicated to helping others. She influenced and made a difference to many. She will sadly be missed.
Donna is survived by her husband, Arthur; three sons: James (Jenny) Boesen, Randy (Donna) Boesen, and Terry (Cynthia) Wolford; one foster child, Theresa (Shannon) Criss-Amos; six grandchildren: Tiffany, Cole, Joseph, Kayla, Jade and Alexis; one great grandchild, John; an uncle, Ron (Armond) Pennington; and special friends: Julie Hockers, Wally Hagers, Carol and Minnie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Norma.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday January 18, 2014, at the Stephenson Town Hall on County Road X.
