The Coleman School Board will meet Monday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. in the Board Room.
The proposed agenda includes presidents welcome/meeting called to order, roll call, consent items of agenda, minutes, vouchers and financial report.
Questions from the public will be followed by reports of principal, superintendent, district spotlight, Buildings and Grounds, Certified Personnel and Board Policy/Curriculum Committee meetings.
Discussed will be source of payment for additional football coaches, curriculum writer and other stipends, employee leave and paperless board packets.
Matters requiring action are open enrollment parameters, high school course handbook, school calendar, transportation contract with Camps, resolution authorizing issuance and awarding of $1,345,000 general obligation refunding bonds, providing the form of the bonds, and levying a tax in connection therewith, Don Engebregtsen as 7th and 8th grade boys track coach, Jeremy Brady as 7th and 8th grade girls track coach, adopt board policies-2nd reading, donations from Sunset Riders 4H Club for Coleman Equestrian Team and Coleman FFA, plus hirings and resignations.
The next meeting was set for Feb. 17.
A closed session will be held on superintendents evaluation. The Board will reconvene to open session for possible action on the contract.
Three committee meetings will precede the regular meeting.
Buildings and Grounds meet at 6 p.m. to discuss tennis courts. At 6:15 p.m. is Certified Committee on payment for additional coaching help, and Board Policy/Curriculum Committee at 6:30 p.m. will discuss scholarships and course description booklet.
