Angeline M. Janik
Angeline M. Janik, 103 years old, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born March 30, 1910, daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Gorka) Raczek, she married Stanley Janik in 1936 on Thanksgiving Day in Knowlton, Wi. The couple resided in Calumet City, Ill. and in 1958 relocated to Crivitz. After her husband died on Dec. 11, 1964, she moved to Peshtigo in 1981 where she remained a resident.
She is survived by, a step-daughter, Helen Duquaine, of Peshtigo; four grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Mike, John, Stanley, Joe, Walter and Peter; three sisters,
Ann, Marie and Kay and a son-in-law, Francis Duquaine.
Visitation was held on Monday, Feb. 3, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 9 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Burial was in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Crivitz. Memorials can be made to Unity Hospice or a charity of ones choice. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
