Valetta B. (Anderson) Kasal, 59, of Peshtigo, passed away unexpectedly at home Feb. 1.
Born Dec. 21, 1954 in Iron Mountain, Mi., to the late Glenn Bill Anderson and the late Bonita Boye (Butterfield, Anderson), she married John M. Kasal June 1, 1989.
A homemaker, she loved cooking, painting, crocheting, cats, music and karaoke.
Survivors include, her husband, John; her mother, Betty Anderson; two children, Bill (Catherine) Spencer and Tania (Tony) Courchaine; four step-children, Jon Kasal, Justin Kasal, Jeremy (Chanda) Kasal and Heather Kasal; two brothers, Ray Boye Jr. and Bill (Pam) Boye; three sisters, Jodi (Frank) Beacom, Lucy (Davis) Carlson and Carmen (John) Kobs; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Danny Boye and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Myron and Hildegard Kasal
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 5 at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home from 2:30 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
