Keith F. Lawrenz, 53, of Shawano, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 4 at a local nursing home there.
Born March 4, 1960 in Port Washington, son of Viola (Perkins) Lawrenz and the late Jacob Jake Lawrenz, he graduated from Bonduel High School in 1978 and married Patty McKenna on March 29, 1991. He was a hard worker who spent most of his career building boats. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; a daughter, Nicole (special friend, Nick Wetherall) Binkowski; a son, Jacob Lawrenz; his mother, Viola Lawrenz, all of Shawano; two brothers, Randall (Laurie) Lawrenz, of Sheboygan and Jeff Lawrenz, of Cleveland, Wi.; a sister, Janet (special friend, Bob) Lawrenz, of Gillett; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jake Lawrenz and a sister, Betsy Elizabeth Lawrenz.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at The Lighthouse in Shawano on Saturday, Feb. 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano is assisting the family with the arrangements.
