THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Anne (Babe) Sather, 96, longtime resident of Milwaukee's East Side, passed away Friday, Jan. 24.
Born Jan. 12, 1918, in Marinette, daughter of Louis and Anna Vogt, she was the youngest of three girls.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; sisters, Helen and Marie; a and goddaughter, Leslie Ann (Adams) O'Connor; Beloved aunt of Heleana Adams, Martina Adams, Jeffrey McLaughlin, Sean McLaughlin, the Kempf family, other caring nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Lindsay Hall Chapel at Eastcastle Place, 2505 E. Bradford Ave., Milwaukee, Wi. on Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette. Suminski LifeStory Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements. In memory, contributions may be made to Eastcastle Employee Appreciation Fund.
