Mary Ann V. Herrick, 77, of Amberg, passed away Sunday Feb. 16 at Maryhill Manor in Niagara.
Born in Milton Township, Buffalo County on July 29, 1936, daughter of Lester and Vernes (Hammer) Buchholz, she was united in marriage to Marcel Herrick in 1956 in Winona, Minn.
She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, card games, Sheepshead, crossword puzzles, gardening and crocheting and also the Red Hat Club. Most importantly she will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Marcel; six children, Mark (Sue) Herrick, Marie (Kevin) Lohrke, Kevin (Sue) Herrick, Bonnie Herrick, Bill (Mary Jo) Herrick and Michael (Sara) Herrick; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Dorothy (Al) Breitbach and Nelda (Ted) Nowacki.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Orvilla and Helen and three brothers, Wilmer, Robert and Larry.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of a Memorial Service at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21 at Messar Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee. Fr. Walter Stumpf will officiate. Messar Roubal Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
