Emory J. Wheelock
Emory John Wheelock, 78, of Lakeville, Minn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 13.
Born Nov. 19, 1935, in Menominee Mi., to the late Edna and Emory B. Wheelock, he grew up in Wausaukee and retired from Northwest Airlines after a 38 year career.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Glenda (Cole) Wheelock; five children, Michael (Diane Nolde) Wheelock, Deborah Boyd, Mary (Dave) Lakomy, Daniel (Tori Wetterau) Wheelock and Tami (Michael) Maddio; a brother, Dean (Susan) Wheelock; a cousin, Robert Edlebeck; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna Fisher Wheelock and Emory B. Wheelock.
Visitation was held at 10 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17 at Grace United Methodist Church, Burnsville, Minn. An additional Memorial Service will be held in Athelstane at a later date. White Funeral Home, Lakeville, Minn., assisted the family with arrangements.
