Arlene Doris Allen
Arlene Doris Allen, 87, of Marinette, passed away Feb. 22 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Born Feb. 19, 1927 in Texas, daughter of the late John and Viola (Bullington) Smelser, she married Chestelee Allen on Oct. 10, 1946 in Houston, Tx. He preceded her in death April 20, 1996.
She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed reading the Bible and was loved by her family.
She is survived by a son, Chestelee (Tracy) Allen, of Marinette; three daughters, Viola L. Allen, of Green Bay, Norvetta M. Allen, of Greendale and Avis L. (Larry) Kalafut, of Marinette; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Lee Smelser and Billy W. Smelser and and three great-grandchildren.
Private family services were held and burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette. Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
