Alice M. Rastall
Alice M. Rastall, 82, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Prairie Homes in Menasha.
Born Oct. 8, 1931 in Marinette to William and Hertha (Priewe) Dumke, she graduated from Marinette High School in 1949 and resided there most of her life. She married Roger L. Rastall Sept. 24, 1955 and was employed by Scott Paper Co. and the Sears Store. She then worked for over 25 years for the School District of Marinette until her retirement.
A lifelong member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, she served as treasurer for the local branch of Aid Association for Lutherans and was active in fund raising. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed gardening, cooking, arts and crafts and led a physically active lifestyle.
She is survived by two children, David (Karen) Rastall, of DePere and Regina (Bruce) Johnson, of Neenah; three grandchildren; four brothers, William (Vicky) Lempke, George (Mary) Dumke, David Dumke and Roy (Holly) Dumke; two sisters, Mary Hovey and Karen (Rick) Kuran and a brother-in-law, Ken Guillaume.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger and two sisters, Esther Dumke and Joan Guillaume.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral services at noon on Saturday, Feb. 22. Rev. Jon Tesch and Rev. Frederick Mueller officiated with burial in Glenwood Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in her name are appreciated for Trinity Lutheran School or Heartland Hospice.
