Arthur E. Kadubek
Arthur Art E. Kadubek, 70, of Armstrong Creek, passed away on Sunday, March 2 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born June 10, 1943 in Laona to Stanley and Irene (Hansen) Kadubek, he married Sandra Sandy Estreen at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Wabeno on June 19, 1965. He was involved in the lumber and wood industry for 51 years.
He loved the outdoors, deer hunting, fishing, trout fishing trips to Montana, cooking or grilling for people, making apple pies, model trains and spending time with family and friends at the hunting cabin. He was an avid storyteller.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sandy; daughter, Brenda (Ed) Powell, Jr. of Menominee, MI.; two grandsons; and three brothers, Martin (Pat), Wayne and Wes. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Irene.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6 from 5-8 p.m. at the Armstrong Creek Community Center and again on Friday, March 7 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, Armstrong Creek. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. with Father John Hephner and Deacon Jerry Cross officiating. Interment will be held at a later date in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Armstrong Creek. Weber-Hill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
