Coleman Students Take Part in M&O Music Fest

Coleman High School and Middle School music students took part in the alternate M&O Conference Solo/Ensemble Music Festival held at Peshtigo High School on Tuesday March 11th. Students from grades 6 through 12 performed for a critique or graded rating before state-sanctioned judges in both vocal and instrumental events. Coleman students competed along with musicians from the other M&O Conference schools. A second music festival will follow on Saturday, March 29th, also in Peshtigo.

Coleman band students receiving a starred-first place rating in Class A and eligible for competition at State were Sadie Duckert, Ashly Rymer, Kim Carlson, Tori Bushmaker, McKenzie Ericson, Jonathon Salewski, Kelsey Payne, Garrett Kostrova, Mollie Graetz/miscellaneous ensemble.

Additional Coleman students receiving a second place rating in Class A were Kelsey Payne, Sadie Duckert, Sammy Marquardt, Olivia Kobus, Madisen Kobus, McKenzie Kostreva, Carissa Marquardt, Jennifer Bucksa, Devon Gille, Amy Naegeli/miscellaneous ensemble.

Coleman students earning a first place rating in Class C included the Coleman Middle School Clarinet Ensemble of Kersten Gibson, Sarah Seefeldt, Autumn Washuleski, Meghan Fraser, Elizabeth Henry, Rebekah Lansin, Maria Nowak, Alivia Schulte, Emily Dufeck; the Coleman Middle School Brass Ensemble which includes Anna Dohl, Alexa Gruber, Taylor Payette, Morgan Rymer, Lauren Wittock, Brandon Engels, Jacob Hinther, Savannah Moss, Abby Nowak, Hunter Woulf, Cole Woulf, Joel Styczynski, Brodie Darga, Trevor Risner, Sam Kuchta, Peyton Deering, Mariah Payette, Kelly Polomis, Sydney Zablocki. The Coleman Middle School Sax Ensemble comprises Amalia, Faudoa, Annabelle Kotecki, Clara Yoap, Caleb Gross, Koltin Grzybowski, Kailey Klimek, Alexandria Broderick, Stephanie Faudoa, Caitlin Huberty, Alex Prestine, Noah Rennie, Adlyn Salewski, Beth Garrigan, Tristan Hawkins, Sierra Pashek, Reece Washuleski; and in the Coleman Middle School Percussion Ensemble are Andrew Berth, Miles Kremsreiter, Cameron Zirbel, Austin Marquardt, Ryan Terp, Kasey Casper, Robert Duckert, Jacob Hoffman, Gracie Nasgovitz, Nathan Graetz, Louis Henry, Sam King, Morgan Messenger, Tyler Olsen, Justin Pleshek, Nick Teteak.

Students receiving a second place rating in Class C were Alondra Herrera, Jesse Meyer, Lauren Osterberg/concert bell trio.

The Coleman band instructor is Jim Heyroth.
