Clair E. Popp, 74, of Athelstane, formerly of Menasha, passed away at Bay Area Medical Center on Tuesday, March 18.
Born in Norway, Mi., Feb. 23, 1940, daughter of the late Lawrence and Arlene (Bryngelson) Sievert, she graduated from Appleton West High School in 1958. She married Jerry Popp Dec. 23, 1958.
She enjoyed playing volleyball, gardening, playing cards and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; two children, Terry (Marjorie) Popp, of Wausaukee and Vicki Marcusen, of Athelstane; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five siblings, Elaine Parker, Shirley (Bud) Hearden, Jane (Frank) Shafer, Don (Terri) Sievert and Shari (Rev. Roger) Collins and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Don.
Family and friends called from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 at Messar Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee with Pastor Rick Marcy officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Home Cemetery in Athelstane in spring.
