Ronald L. Valenta
Ronald Leo Valenta, 53, Coleman passed away Tuesday, March 25 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 27, 1961 in Oconto Falls, to the late Leo and Anna (Pivonka) Valenta, he loved fishing, hunting, the outdoors, working on cars and his grandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Crystal Valenta, Oconto; Josh (Steph) Valenta, Green Bay and Stacey (Tony) Lamoureux, Oshkosh; five grandchildren; three brothers, John (Mary) Valenta, Lena, Allen (Sharon) Valenta, Lee Lake and Donald (Kathi) Valenta, all of Coleman; six sisters, Janet (Melvin) Haffeman, Lena, Jo-Ann Valenta, Two Rivers, Julia Linzmeyer, Brown Deer, Sharon (Robert) Schroth, Connie (Rick) Broderick and Cindy (Danny) Nickels, all of Coleman; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Leo and a brother-in-law, John Linzmeyer.
Friends called at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto from 9 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, with Deacon Walt Kaszynski officiating. Burial was at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Klondike.
