Janie Marie Hanner, 85, of Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 26.
Born Nov. 12, 1929 in Marion, Ark., to Thomas Edward Burns and Ethel F. Crews Burns, she married David Hanner in 1954. They lived most of their married life in Green Bay before moving to Land O Lakes, Fla., where they retired from.
She cherished her husband, children, grandchildren and had a soft spot for animals and nature. Her perfect day of retirement was fishing with her husband. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Sammye Hanner, of Clearwater, Fla. and Holly Hanner, of Atlanta, Ga.; four sons, Joel Hanner, of Marinette, Ed Hanner, of Safety Harbor, Fla., Mike Hanner, of Ft. Worth, Tx. and Jim Hanner, of Green Bay; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 3 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Ark. Graveside services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 4 at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer 's Association Central Arkansas Regional Center, 411 S.
