Virginia Mae (Beranek) Lange, 75, of Mountain, passed away late Friday, April 4.
Born May 14, 1938, to August and Irene (Modl) Beranek, she was a LPN for 38 years and touched the lives of all she cared for.
She enjoyed crocheting, reading, spending time with family, friends and grandchildren, church and teaching things she loved, like cooking, to anyone who wanted to learn. She had many friends and welcomed everyone into her family. Her motto was, the more the merrier and she enjoyed attending social events and having her family by her.
She is survived by her only sister, Dawn (Harold) Berger, of Maryland; five children, Ann Sodowsky, Milwaukee, Elizabeth Davis and Charles Schultz III, both of Mountain, Pamela (Ryan) DeKeyser, Pine Bluff, Wo. and Christopher (Theresa) Schultz, Oconto; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Schultz Sr. and Gerald Lange; four children, Elona Schultz, Eugene Schultz, Charles Schultz Jr. and Charlene (Carl) Nelson and two grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at the Forest Home Cemetery in Townsend to celebrate her life on Sunday, May 11 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Stephen Mueller officiating. A dinner will follow at St. John Lutheran Church in Townsend. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family with arrangements.
