Dean C. Krueger
Dean C. Krueger, 67, of Bellevue passed away early Tuesday morning, April 15, at his home following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born March 13, 1947 in Oconto, to Clarence and Eileen (Zimmerman) Krueger, he graduated from Preble High School and then graduated from Wisconsin School of Electronics in Madison in 1967. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict from 1968 until his discharge in 1972. Upon his return home, he married the former Susan Douville on May 25, 1974 at the Church of the Precious Blood in Stephenson, Mi. They would have celebrated 40 years of marriage this year. He worked at Green Bay Packaging as an electrical engineer and for the past 30 years was a partner and electrical engineer for VHC Holding Company-VOS Electric.
His work was his passion that ended with his passing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. A member of the Green Bay Yacht Club, he liked warmer climates in the winter and loved to get away with his wife.
He is survived by his wife, Sue; a daughter, Michelle and Paul Gross, Scottsdale, Az.; a sister, Sharon and Steve Keul, Denver, Co.; a brother, Dale Krueger and Adrienne Curtis, Stoughton; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Jan Douville, Green Bay, Bob Douville, Ann Arbor, Mi., and Sharon and Gary Roy, Marquette, Mi.; nieces; nephews; cousins and close friends, Jim and Chris Christenson.
Friends may call at Proko Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., Green Bay, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. on Friday, April 18 until time of a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. David Wilkinson will officiate with burial at Brookside Cemetery, Oconto. A memorial fund has been established in his name.
