THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Charolett Char Burton, 67, of Crivitz passed away Friday, April 11 at home with family by her side.
Born Oct. 11, 1946 in Grand Tower, Ill., to Lyman and Pauline (Copeland) Clover, she married Robert Burton at Grace Lutheran Church, Crivitz on April 29, 1989. He preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 2005.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include seven children, Kelly (Michael) Zahn, David (Dawn) Mc Namer and Joe (Lila) Mc Namer, all of Crivitz, Madeline Hartl (Dave), Wallace, Mi., Jonathon (Verna) Hayden, Pound, Maritza (David) Ellis, Terre Haute, In. and Felix (Julie) Mc Namer, Munising, Mi.; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and three brothers, Buster, Larry, and Don Clover.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Ami; a sister and a brother.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 1 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 at Grace Lutheran Church, Crivitz. Pastor Jonathon Zietlow will officiate with burial in Forest Home Cemetery, Crivitz. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz is assisting the family.
