Gloria R. Young, 68, of Gillett, passed away Thursday, April 10, at St. Vincents Hospital surrounded by family.
Born April 12, 1945, daughter of Dale and Marguerite Eades, she was the former Gloria Wurtsbaugh. Her and her husband owned and operated a well drilling business.
She enjoyed the outdoors, watching the hummingbirds and eagles, playing bingo, spending time with the granddogs, and fishing with the grandchildren on grandmas pond.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Chicken Young Jr.; three children, Kenneth (Paula) Young, Gillett, Kristina (Penny) Young, Appleton and Tracey Young; a special friend Mindy Young; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with two more on the way; 11 brothers and sisters and their families; two brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law and their families; and many other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Raymond and Alice Young; two infant children, Troy and Tori and three siblings.
Friends called from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett, with Pastor Gerhardt Miller officiating.
