Crivitz Boys, Suring Gals Top Triangular
Sparked by a double win from senior standout Ben Fischer, the Crivitz Wolverines claimed 7 first place finishes for 88 points and a triangular win at Gillett Tuesday. Gillett was second at 68 followed by Suring third with a score of 61.
Fischer won the 100 meter dash in 11.69 and also was first in the high jump at 510 while earn second place points in the triple jump 390 and long jump 1811.75.
Other top places for Crivitz were Alex Weidemeier shot put 427, Adam Slaby 400 (56.71), Tanner Thoreson discus 1123, Tyler Slaby pole vault 110 and the 800 relay team with a 1:43.91 clocking.
Akeem Bates claimed the triple jump 411 and long jump 205 for Gillett.
The girls portion of the meet was dominated by Suring, which won 14 events for 136 points. Gillett was second with 50 points and Crivitz tallied 16.
Double winners for Suring included Calley VanBellinger in the 100 meters 14.56 and triple jump 2911.5, Az VanBellinger long jump 145 and 400 1:07.37, Katie Stageman high jump 48 and 1600 run 6:20.95.
Suring also cruised to wins in the 400, 800, 1600 and 3200 relays.
