THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Virginia Ginny L. Mohr- Dollar, 63, of Florence, passed away Monday, April 21 at the Golden Living Center.
Born Sept. 27, 1950, in Crandon, daughter of Lillian (Wilber) Mohr, she grew up in Laona and at the age of 14 moved to Florence where she attended school. She married Anthony Dollar in Niagara on Sept. 21, 1998 and worked worked for 20 years in Milwaukee as a nurses aide and later at the Golden Living Center. She was a Packers fan, enjoyed knitting, visiting friends and enjoyed her cat, Nala.
She is survived by her husband, Tony; a son, Robert Miller, Aurora; a daughter, Lana Miller, Iron Mountain; three brothers, Frank (Judy) Mohr, Laona, Matthew (Ruth Ann) Mohr, Pembine and Mark (Arlene) Mohr, Niagara; a sister, Peggy (Ted) Hetzer, Crystal Falls, Mi.; a sister-in-law, Brenda Mohr; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; many nieces; nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, Lillian, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Mohr and Charlie Mohr and nephews, David Mohr and Chas Hetzer.
Visitation was held at Jacobs Lundholm Funeral Home in Florence on Saturday, April 26 from noon until time of a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Pastor Doug Johnson officiated, with burial in Commonwealth Cemetery.
