Adeline C. Paul, 99, of Marinette, passed away Friday, April 25 at Rennes Health Center-West in Peshtigo.
Born Oct. 3, 1914 in the Town of Grover, to Herman and Theresa Meadke, she grew up in Grover and moved to Marinette where she married Arno Paul. He preceded her in death. She worked at the former Boreal Mfg. Co. and was later a housekeeper in many area homes, working into her later years.
A volunteer at the Ludington Apartments and the Marinette Senior Center, she was known for her kindness, willingness to help people and was hard working. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church of Marinette and the Marinette Senior Center.
She is survived by three daughters, Caro Race and Susan (Clifford) Sebero, both of Marinette and Sally Ebert, of Texas; a son-in-law, Dick Adsit, of Slinger; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gene Lee Paul; a daughter, Violet Adsit; a son-in-law, Duane Race; a granddaughter, Sharon Fleck; a grandson, Kip Adsit; two sisters and three brothers.
Friends called at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Marinette after 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at noon on Tuesday, April 29. Rev. Jon Tesch and Rev. Frederick Mueller officiated with burial in Forest Home Cemetery. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral home assisted the family with arrangements.
