Darlene A. Clausen
Darlene Ann Clausen, 73, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Sunday, May 4, at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1941, to Asa and Anna (Lindholm) Weller in Mountain, she graduated from Suring High School and then received a teaching degree. She worked for the Menominee Catholic Central and Menominee Public School systems. In April of 1960, she married Donald R. Clausen in Menominee and he preceded her in death in March of 1999.
A member of Holy Spirit Church, she enjoyed playing piano, watching Glen Beck and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by children, Duane (Karen Sellers) Clausen, Darryl (Shelly) Clausen, Deanna (Michael) Orchekowski, Dwight (Maylen) Clausen and Doreen (Mark Soik) VanDerLinden; a daughter-in-law, Janeta Clausen; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a sister, Elsie (Glen Kruse); a brother, Gerald Weller and special family friends, Ted Galarowic and Mary Ellen Maas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Robert Clausen; a son, Daniel Robert Clausen; brothers, Oscar, Cecil, Lee, Herbert and Martin Weller and Dean and Albert Heinrick; sisters, Christine Dekeyser and Bernice Dellisse.
Friends may call at Cadieu Thielen Funeral Home in Menominee on Wednesday, May 7 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
