Karin K. Hamrin-Sheldon, 59, of Menominee, Mi., passed away unexpectedly at her home surrounded by loved ones on Friday, May 2.
Born March 2, 1955 in Escanaba, Mi., daughter of Rev. Reynold and Marjorie (Tanner) Hamrin, she graduated from High School and attended nursing school in Peoria, Ill. She enjoyed working as an LPN for 15 years. She married Donald Sheldon, Sr. Oct. 16, 1994 in Escanaba.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Sr.; sons, Alexander Keel and Christopher (Rebecca Gimbel) Hensley; daughters, Mary (David Hoffman) Keel and Marjorie (Alonzo Glover Jr.) Hensley; a stepson, Donald (Anita) Sheldon Jr.; 25 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a brother, David (Christine) Hamrin and a sister, Pamela Swain.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 8 at 11 a.m. EST at Calvary Baptist Church in Escanaba, Mi., with Rev. Brian Swillam officiating.
