Spring Wildflower Walk at Harmony
A Spring Wildflower Walk will take place on Saturday, May 10, at the Harmony Arboretum from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with a guided tour of the spring wildflowers in the Harmony Hardwoods Memorial Forest. Participants may see wildflowers such as trillium, bloodroot, bellwort, Dutchman's breeches, and marsh marigolds.
Harmony Arboretum is located seven miles west of Marinette on Hwy 64 and half a mile south on County E. The Walk is free. Wear good walking shoes or hiking boots and dress for the weather. The walk is about 1.5 miles and is over mostly even terrain, with a few inclines. Those attending should meet at the pavilion by the parking area and if weather is bad the event will be cancelled.
